Per il numero di dicembre 2003, Grace Coddington, direttore creativo di Vogue, convoca sotto l’obiettivo di Annie Leibovitz interpreti d’eccezione per un editorial dedicato al romanzo di Lewis Carroll, “Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie”.
Il cast risulta così composto:

Uno di questi è stato realizzato da Jean Paul Gaultier per Madonna, in occasione del “Blonde Ambition Tour”: il bustier in raso color cipria, caratterizzato da due coppe coniche.
Gaultier rilegge il reggiseno a punta tanto in voga negli anni ’50, prendendo a modello ironica, esibizionista ed irriverente delle pin ups.
Questo bustier è diventato un vero e proprio “feticcio” tanto da essere messo recentemente all’asta da Christie’s a Londra.

There are fashion items that go down in the books and become iconic.
Among these, without any doubt, there is the satin soft pink cone-cupped bustier designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and wore by Madonna on her “Blonde Ambition Tour” in 1990.
It was inspired by 1950s bullet bras, winking to the ironic, exhibitionist and irreverent pin ups sex appeal.
This bustier has been recently auctioned by Christie’s in London.
